In a match where PMC Club Athletico Faisalabad had a slow start, the Lahore team of Pak Elektron Limited FC held the home team to a 1-1 draw in a match either side could have won. Athletico goalkeeper Basit Ghafoor denied PEL early on with a nice save from a well-struck effort and remained vital for PMC Athletico's getting a share of the spoils. As the match progressed, Athletico started controlling the game and creating chances on the other end. However PEL shocked the home crowd at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad football crowd by taking the lead thanks to Bannu-born forward Asmat Ullah in 38th minute.
